Andrew Blake

With over 40 years’ experience within the engineering industry, Andrew has extensive knowledge of all aspects of coatings and inspection. Andrew has worked within engineering offices, construction yards and on sites across the world since 1980.

Andrew has extensive experience including gathering stations, process facilities and topside facilities to jacket fabrication, structural fabrication, ship repair, pipelines, tank construction, tank refurbishment, subsea equipment and pipelines.

Andy has extensive experience with subsea coatings of pipelines, flowlines and subsea equipment with extensive knowledge of the more complex subsea thermal insulation systems. He is experienced with the requirements for specifying and documenting coating and thermal insulation systems, Andrew is a Chartered Member of the Chartered Quality Institute and IRCA Lead Auditor.
As a Principal Coatings and Insulation Consultant, Andrew has provided expertise throughout all project phases to a variety of globally recognized Oil & Gas companies – BP, South Stream, Chevron, Tullow, Talisman Energy, CNOOC, Woodside Energy, Nord Stream 2 and many more.
