With over 20 years’ experience leading project and corporate Assurance functions for EPCI Contractors & Operators in the oil & gas sector, and a Master’s degree in Organisational & Business Psychology, Gary is particularly well qualified to understand the drivers of individual and collective performance in structurally complex, culturally diverse, and globally dispersed organisations.

Treading the well-worn path from inspection (NDE and Welding) into Quality Management, Gary has managed Assurance functions on major projects for the likes of ExxonMobil and Total on the operator side, and Acergy and McDermott on the contractor side.

This desire to work both sides of the “contract fence” provided Gary with an appreciation for differing organisational perspectives and a well-rounded experience on a wide range of projects, from brownfield to greenfield and ultra-deep-water SURF to LNG plant. Gary brings a holistic approach to achieving sustainable performance improvement; his passion to improve performance through improving organisational culture, complementing his extensive experience of delivering the systems and processes necessary to ensure successful project delivery and enhanced business operations.
